Nicolas McGregor
Nicolas McGregor studied English at Stirling University, and later, Information Technology.
Amongst his interests are: independent video game design, computer-aided animation, literary and cinematic horror, historical fiction and creative writing.
His short story "The Martha Day Affair" placed third in the Scotsman and Orange Short Story Award 2005, and subsequently appeared in the short fiction collection Secrets, published by Polygon, an imprint of Birlinn. His website, nicolasmcgregor.com, details his writing experiences.
Nicolas currently lives in Glenrothes, Scotland, where he splits his time between his interests, and plays Texas Hold'em poker online with an optimism that far outstrips his playing ability.
